We have capabilities for in-person meetings or virtual web conferences. Our portals also allow you to work with us at whatever time is more convenient for you no matter where you are or the time of day.
Here is a breakdown of how we approach all relationships:
The first step to establishing an advisory/planning relationship with us is the introduction meeting. The scope of this meeting is very narrow. It's simply where we discuss our process, learn about what matters most to you, and “feel” each other out to see if we're a good fit before moving forward.
This meeting typically last between 15-30 minutes.
The discovery process is the foundation of the advisor/client relationship. It's how we gather the necessary information to customize a plan & strategy specific to your needs and goals. This “Deep Dive” discovery process covers your current financial position; savings; investments; retirement goals; family planning; long-term goals and short-term goals. We leave no stone unturned here so that we have the necessary information to prepare an investment proposal that works best for you.
This meeting typically lasts 30-60 minutes.
The risk assessment is a part of the discovery process but is so important that it should stand alone in the description of our processes. We provide you with a brief survey focused on your attitude towards investment risk. We don't stop here. The information collected earlier in the discovery process is also taken into consideration. If there are any conflicting statements, ideas or circumstances, we discuss them with you to ensure that we develop the best strategy for you.
This online survey typically takes 5-7 minutes to complete.
Our proposal meeting is where we show you what we've come up with after learning about you and your circumstance. Your goals and risk tolerance are our GPS in this financial journey. This is the part where we ask for your business or how best we can help you.
This meeting typically lasts 15-30 minutes
All forms will be pre-filled for your review and signature and can be signed in person or during a virtual web-conference. We'll go over all documents with you as you sign them and answer any questions you may ask.
After all necessary paperwork has been completed, we'll set up an onboarding meeting where we bring you up to speed on what to expect. We help you with setting up your client portal access, introduce you to the website and the tools we have available for you. The main purpose of onboarding is to be proactive with information, so you know exactly what to expect and how to take advantage of your relationship with JG Wealth Management.
